Steve's first recording is
now available: "Songs
from the Storehouse."
Through the efforts of
dozens of volunteers, the
album was recorded in
concert April 30,
2004, as ... a fund-raiser to
benefit Joseph's
Storehouse, a ministry to
people in need as an
outreach from Valley
Christian Fellowship, in
Salem, Ore.

If you read the story of Joseph, in the book of Genesis, you'll another reason for
the album's name. When he was designated the No. 2 man in Egypt, Joseph
started preparing for the coming famine by storing up food for the people. When
the famine struck, he was responsible for making sure the people were fed, and
it was through this supply that he was reconciled with his family, to the very
brothers who had sold him into slavery.

In the same way, Steve has been writing songs for nearly 30 years, but never
recording them. This CD, then, is his reaching into his storehouse of music to
feed those who might be hungry for his mini-sermons, his meditations, his corny
sense of humor. Just him and his 12-string guitar,* making his musical "debut"
at a mere 56 years old.

So sales of this 16-song CD will benefit Joseph's Storehouse, and we hope the
music will benefit you and bring you closer to Jesus, whose name we raise up.

* -- Steve's guitar, an acoustic-electric Charvel, was a gift in 1996 from his friends
at Monte Vista Christian Church in Albuquerque, N.M. Not many things are
sweeter than a given guitar.
